pre-writing gas prices

1. What is a problem/issue that our entire student body (our school, community, country, etc.) faces today?
gas prices are rising alot and it's starting to cause alot of people to start to taking buses and buses aren't all that cheap either but they are cheaper than gas. But that also takes up alot more time when you have to take the bus so you would have to be up and up earlyer than usual.
2. What is your view/position on the problem or situation?
my view on gas prices rising is that i wish they would stop because it's causing me to spend alot of money driving from richfield to apple valley everyday and everyweekend driving to plymouth it's just rough when you have to sit there and think what is more important getting some food or getting gas it's almost becoming a life or death situation.
3. What would you like to achieve with your editorial? (What is the desired result?)
my desired results is knowledge

we need to get places, not everyone likes to depend on other people
5. How will you motivate your readership to action in your conclusion?
that we can't be making life or death situations
6. How will your editorial serve a public purpose?
it explains that gas is to high and that we need to find some type of way to lower it because it's starting to get to high and alot of people are already having finacial problems because the economy.
